Also by me:
Website about Attic, my debut manga effort. Check it out in order to preview Attic, or to find out more information. For more info on this check out the manga section.

All the greatest UK amateur mangaka united. ^_^
I was the founder of Sweatdrop Studios, and since then we've taken on several new artists, and produced many more original manga productions. All my future manga works will be available to buy from here.

Gamiko is a website for Games Industry Discussion I created and has been running for a couple of years. It also now features my character 'Banofi the monkey' as a mascot! ^_~ Check it out!
Related sites (designed by me):
I created this website for Laura Watton! This website is an online version of issues 1-3 of Biomecha! ^_^ Check it out!!

Umbrella Studios is an American/Canadian amatuer doujinshi circle, focusing mainly on shounen-ai, with a variety of doujinshi and self published artbooks available to buy. I was responsible for the design and development of the website.

Resources + Events ^_^
Aya 2003 takes place in Northampton (UK) on Oct 30th - Nov 1st, 2003. Pop along to the Sweatdrop Studios table and say hi! ^-^
BritAnime is the definative resource for anything and everything Anime & Manga related in the UK. Here you will find a thorough list of printed UK fanzines, UK conventions and events, UK artists and basically anything else to do with the British anime/manga scene. Highly recommended. ^_^
Other Manga Artists ^_^

NOTE: All of these are links to artists that produce comics / manga of some sort . ^_^ I'm choosing to link only to artists who produce comics because it not only helps llimit things a little, but also because these artists share something in common with me. Oh, take note to the country of origin little flag thing. If any of these are wrong, please tell me.

United Kingdom Nodding Cat is the home of fellow UK mangaka; Selina Dean, notorious creator of Fantastic Cat. Brilliant and sensitive characterisation and a unique visual style make her work stand out far and above over most amateur works. A must visit :)
United Kingdom RE:Works is the art collective of the notorious Fumbum. Another UK artist, this contains blissfully cute and stylish gallery work, with a wicked sense of humour. Check out 'Mystikal' for some hilarious Sonic Team oriented fan comics. It's not often I'll recommend fan comics, so trust me on this one ^_~
United Kingdom Karii is yet another UK artist whose style combines cute with kinkiness. There's also some of her cool (yet weird) comics on her site.
United Kingdom This is the new home of Keds, fellow Sweatdrop member. There's a lot of development artwork and lots of example pages from numerous manga efforts. Very cool!
United Kingdom Laura Watton is the co-founding member of Sweatdrop, and an indisputable UK anime icon. Her website is just a small sample of the works she has produced. You can check out Laura's comics for sale at Sweatdrop, or read Biomecha issues 1-3 online here. ^_^
United Kingdom Tilted Junction is an excellent online manga from UK artist Kate Hayward. Excellent stylings and clean use of lines and space, combined with empathetic writing style. Check it out! Kate also produces another online comic called Shadows ^_^
United Kingdom Yet another Sweatdrop member, Dragon Heir is Emma's first manga effort, and the site currently shows you artwork and some of the story. Now available to buy from Sweatdrop Studios. ^_^
United Kingdom+Thailand Mindtrip is written by Fred Crowe (from Gothic Tears) and illustrated by Shari Hes. 'Mindtrip: First Voice', the prequel to the main story, is now completed and available to buy from Sweatdrop. Excellent story and a very immersive website to boot! Check it out!
United Kingdom+Thailand Rabid Monkeys is effectively the bastard spawn of Mindtrip. The creator strips from mindtrip were left abandoned like orphans, and have mutated into this comic of 4-panel strips. Written by Fred Crowe (from Gothic Tears) and illustrated by Shari Hes, of course ^_^
Thailand Survive Bad Blood, the home of Shari Hes. Incredible artist, well known for her work on the now defunct Sketch of Love. Stunning artwork with a unique modern styling, Shari is definately of a new generation of comic artist.
Malaysia (from Malaysia but studying in the UK) The Metal and the Blood is rather unusual in terms of style for an online comic. The soft grey shading is unusually effective and presents a subtle and sympathetic atmosphere lending to character empathy. Beautiful! Check out Hwei's artwork at Straightly Bent.
USA Ashura is probably wholly to blame for me pursuing my interest in manga so thoroughly... I'm an Ashura protégé! ^_~ One of the founders of Umbrella Studios (of which I created the website for), Ashura is an active member in the doujinshi circles, specialising in drama, solemn and shounen-ai stories. Check out her awesome work!
United Kingdom Fellow games artist Niki Hunter (previously known as Niki Broughton ^_~), and now a fellow Sweatdrop Studios member! She has a wide range of styles and experience, is truly an inspiration.
United Kingdom Wing's artwork is becoming well known in anime circles, as well as her work on Telephone Ice-Cream animation project, but she also produces great sequential art with Sweatdrop. A super busy but wonderful gal - go check out her work!
United Kingdom Another veteren UK anime scene person, comic artist and also a game artist - Emill Szynsky produces some great stuff in her project 'Hyper', but be sure to check out her experimental work too. Fantastic art, impressive lack of dialogue and plenty of character.
United Kingdom Vanessa Wells is another veteren games artist here in the UK, but has also been drawing manga since before I even knew there was a UK scene! Visit her main site, or her deviant art site HERE.
USA Nairohe is responsible for work on a wonderful looking comic named 'Lady in shadow'. Also the talent behind the absolutely amazing online comic; 'The Sketchbook' - a must read for any fellow comic artist. An artist of my own heart, oscillating between dark dismal etchings and madcap cutesy fun! Superb!
USA Aurore Demilly is a manga artist from france. With stunning attention to detail and soft and humble characterisation. The first piece I saw from her was called 1948, but since she has gone on to draw many more. They're available to read on the site. ^-^ Go look!
United Kingdom The excellent portfolio of games artist Ohnhai, otherwise known as Steve Rushbrook. 3D graphics, pixel art, and illustration work all done with great panache! There ought to be some of his manga works displayed here soon too! Wah! ^o^
USA Tracy Williams has a fantastic style, really capturing the essense of Japanese style comics, but always retaining an edge of her own. Her comic 'Lourdes Ascension' is serialised in mangaphile... lucky gal. ^_^ Check out her stuff!
United Kingdom Chihiro's manga works are great! She has a great appreciation of the nuances of manga storytelling, and a fantastic handling of style. ^_^ Her illustrative works are awesome, with a design-like edge. She's awesome, and hugely inspiring!
